Join us for an interactive presentation that delve into the life and legacy of playwright, August Wilson while highlighting the historical significance of Juneteenth. This session aims to educate participants of August Wilson’s contributions to the African American experience and how his life and work intersects with themes of freedom and cultural identity celebrated during Juneteenth. After the presentation, stay for a hands-on art activity courtesy of the August Wilson Center. 

This session is for children grades 3-8.

Registration is required.
