Sewn by Philadelphia seamstress Betsy Ross, the American Flag holds quite a lot of symbolic representation in its design. Stars, stripes, red, white and blue coloring-- each element was used to tell a larger story. What's your story? What are your symbols? Come to the library to create your own personal or family flag and learn a little bit more about Betsy Ross in the process! No registration required.
