Gene Kelly starred in many of Hollywood's most beloved musicals—Singin' in the Rain (1952), An American in Paris (1951), and On the Town (1949) among many others. A trailblazer, he was always pushing boundaries onscreen—from dancing with a cartoon mouse to teaching Frank Sinatra how to dance. Born in East Liberty, learn how Pittsburgh's own sang and danced his way from Peabody High School to the heights of Hollywood Fame."
